Interdisciplinary photography is the most accurate way I've found to describe the most current iteration of imagery from the photographic medium. My images are photographs but I also draw on elements of more traditional mediums in creating the final image. Digital capture allows modern photographers to explore a much wider vision than was available only a few years ago. It is common for me to use many layers of photographs to create a final image. Also, among those layers I frequently use my own drawings, paintings, and rephotographed images to create color, texture, and structure.
