Artist Statement
My work ranges in size from 4x6 inches to 4x6 feet. Surface and material is critical and often heavily textured and luscious. Paints are applied in many thin layers, sanded, built up and worked into. Imagery includes all I love in my Michigan home, the birds, pets, deer, landscape and family that surround me.
