Artist Statement
My paintings begin with a feeling, a splash of thinned oil paints, and a muse present. I say this because it is truly a mystery to me where the inspiration for my paintings comes from. I also know that this inspiration cannot be conjured up by will...I only know that I have to be ready and willing with paint brush in hand when it shows up!
