Artist Statement
My work starts with a handful of sharpened pencils & a blank sheet of Artboard. I scribble and erase until I start to see images in the lines. I pull out the images using colored pencils and oil pastels. I love to work this way, beacuse I never know what images will emerge and I need to be open to what I see in the lines.
