Artist Statement
I?ve had a long fascination with wood. I am awed by its grain, texture, density and figuring. Wood is a gift of nature; art unaided. By utilizing stains, dyes and finishes, I take great pleasure in revealing its beauty. I use wood shapes and patterns to create depth and a bold new perspective on architecture and nature?s landscapes.
