Artist Statement
I love the alchemy of printmaking. It transmutes an idea through the crucibles of drawing, carving, inking, and printing into an image that holds some surprises for its maker and hopefully some delight for its viewer. Its very indirectness invites the unexpected and is part of my creative process.
