Artist Statement
My intention is to make pottery that is both elegantly functional and visually pleasing. I use porcelain for its strength and fineness, working initially on the potters wheel then building each piece one at a time. Clean, contemporary design and handsome surfaces characterize this work. The two glazes used result in color compatible objects that are comfortable in any environment.
