Artist Statement
My work is observational, drawn from life. Posed figures or scenes drawn in line with charcoal or pencil or painted directly in shapes with watercolor, or a mixture of both. I'm generally interested in where fashion and style meets a very old fine art tradition of studying what?s right in front of me, and portraying the inner lives of my subjects.
