Artist Statement

“Siren’s Twilight” This sculptural fiber art piece is created through an ancient felting technique. I use water and soap to mat loose natural fibers such as wool, silk, and flax to create and sculpt 3D textiles. Various parts of de-shaped silk cocoons incorporated in this art piece.
