Artist Statement

My work highlights the natural beauty of burled wood with details of fine craftsmanship. I use a variety of ecologically harvested and highly figured burls, largely in buckeye, maple, cherry, redwood, and walnut. My table legs and mirror sides are a unique style I created to be exceptionally strong and provide a polished, modern style. I use resins and polymers to strengthen and accent the natural beauty of the wood.
