GETTING TO THE FAIR: BY CAR
PARKING: The Maynard Street Parking Structure provides convenient parking two blocks from the center of the Original Fair. Evening and Saturday parking is available at the University of Michigan parking garage on Thayer and Washington, the Fletcher Deck and at the Palmer Deck (enter off Washtenaw and take the walkway), all immediately adjacent to the Fair. Many downtown city structures and lots cost $12 a day ($6 after 5 PM). Neighborhood parking is available all along State St. north of Washington at schools, churches, and apartment buildings for a fee. See the Four Fairs Brochure and Map for more detail.
