Artist Statement
I use the clay as metaphor for people. Humans to me are a priceless gifts of art with indescribable beauty and mystery beyond all conception, we do incredible things and are strong and resilient but also so delicate that a word, a breath, a look even a thought could destroy us. My work becomes a juxtaposition between powerful and fragile.
