Artist Statement
As a painter I try to capture a split second in time and translate that into a visual memory. By abstracting the scene I capture it in a way that is somewhere between the memory or a dream of a location. This allows others to see my work and relate to it in a more personal way by opening it up to there own ideas of where and when it is.
