Artist Statement
In our exploration of the natural world, we have found a fascinating beauty at the macro level. It is our privilege to share with you what we have discovered, something that is both organic and unique.
After photographing the macro images in the field, we work through the computer to enhance the various design elements in each image. Next we print the images on either fine art canvas or metal. To develop the design further, we then apply both opaque and transparent paints to emphasize line, color and movement. The finished pieces are something both foreign and familiar, combining the beauty of nature with the carefully applied touch of the artist.
We maintain complete control over the entire process, from the initial image capture to the final framing and mounting, using only archival quality materials.
