Artist Statement
My work consists of 4-13 layers of hand painted 1/8" birch sheets. I am inspired by Spanish tilework, Middle-Eastern architecture, nature, and math. Each layer of wood is hand painted and cut out using a laser. The layers are then meticulously glued together one at a time to create unique art.
