Artist Statement
I use traditional Italian techniques along with the American Studio Glass movementâ??s enthusiasm to investigate and repurpose techniques. I create my own color palette and pattern bars. Starting with a simple straight line cane pull and often evolving into complex twisty cane and murrine. These multicolored canes are chosen and arranged which are then applied to a glass bubble.
