Artist Statement
I am inspired by the things I see in nature; by the rhythms of light, matter & color. I am startled at the movement of water & the unpredictability of form, this causes me to ask questions, I answer those with my paintings, or at least I search for the answers more intently. I feel like a journalist of sorts; transcribing the beauty of our world.
