Artist Statement
Nature is my source of inspiration. When I take a look at a plant, I see a living being, I feel its vibrations, and I try to transcribe my sensations on paper. I particularly like faded or dried plants, because I feel the plant?s immortal spirit, the link between sky, earth and humans. My goal is to attract the spectator's eye to the indisputable beauty of these seemingly insignificant "beings", these branches or stems, these leaves, flowers, and withered fruits, so ephemeral, touch them and they're gone.
