Artist Statement
My paintings are minimalist, hyperreal, original oil paintings that embrace simplicity and serenity. Each painting consists of one animal, on a large area of ambient space, painted in a gentle gradation. The softness of the background creates a sense of tranquility, while the painting?s single subject invites the viewer to form a connection with both the animal and the painting as a whole.
