Artist Statement
Working from my Brooklyn waterfront studio, I am inspired by the grids and lines of the city against the sky, clouds and water. The colors, textures and forms of the primordial natural world, mathematic order and urban repetitive patterns swirl and captivate and inform my sketches and creative thoughts, as does the archetypal desire for adornment and decoration.
