Artist Statement
I utilize Italian techniques in the pieces that are solely glass. This includes incalmo, filigrana, zanfirico, merletto, and reticello. In sculptural work that includes hand forged steel and glass, I carefully balance each medium to compliment each other without taking away from their own unique styles.
