Artist Statement
Architectural bird houses/bat houses/feeders, made from re-purposed, century-old barn wood. Eight step paint process. Branded with blacksmith forge irons. Unique copper predator guards sand cast at foundry. Woodwork patterns from historic sources. Researched to provide habitat for cavity-nesting songbirds/owls/bats.
