Artist Statement
Simple foods and objects are often keys to the happiest of memories. They offer an echo of the past, a breath of fresh air, and a prickle of nostalgia. I enjoy recreating the realistic details of the simple pleasures that we savor and strive to create paintings that tell a delicious story or remind viewers of one of their own.
